Coral Wave Hospitality is a growing hotel investment and management company focused on acquiring and operating hospitality assets throughout the United States. The company currently owns and operates multiple hotels and continues to expand its portfolio through strategic acquisitions and hands-on management. As Coral Wave Hospitality grows, there may be opportunities for advancement into multi-property and corporate leadership roles. The Wiesbaden Hot Springs Hotel & Spa is a unique boutique property located in the heart of Ouray, Colorado. Featuring naturally heated mineral hot springs, the renowned Vapor Cave, private soaking experiences, and a distinctive guest experience, the Wiesbaden is one of Colorado's most iconic wellness destinations. Housing is included as part of the compensation package. Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, guest satisfaction, employee leadership, and physical condition of the Wiesbaden Hot Springs Hotel & Spa. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel, spa, and hot springs operations while maintaining exceptional guest experiences and a positive work environment. This position requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable managing daily operations while also focusing on long-term growth, revenue optimization, employee development, and asset preservation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Experience Promote and maintain a culture focused on exceptional guest service and hospitality. Ensure all guest concerns are resolved promptly, professionally, and consistently. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, and presentation throughout the property. Monitor guest feedback and online reviews and implement improvements as needed. Foster a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the unique character of the Wiesbaden. Operations Management Oversee daily hotel, hot springs, spa, and guest service operations. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operating standards. Coordinate front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, spa, and guest services departments. Monitor property conditions and proactively identify maintenance and capital improvement needs. Assist with operational duties as necessary, including front desk coverage, housekeeping support, and guest assistance. Leadership and Team Development Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and retain high-quality employees. Create work schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels. Conduct employee evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities. Foster a positive, professional, and accountable workplace culture. Conduct regular team meetings and communicate company objectives, policies, and expectations. Property Stewardship Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, hot springs facilities, and back-of-house areas. Ensure the property is maintained to company standards. Coordinate vendors and contractors as needed. Protect and enhance the long-term value of the asset. Qualifications Previous hotel management, resort management, boutique lodging, or hospitality leadership experience preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage employees and drive guest satisfaction. Experience with budgeting, labor management, and operational oversight. Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively. Familiarity with hotel property management systems and basic computer software. Spa, wellness, resort, or hot springs experience is a plus. Language Skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to communicate professionally with guests, employees, vendors, and ownership. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings. Organization and Time Management Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Computer Skills Proficiency with email, word processing, spreadsheets, and hotel management software. Experience with property management systems and online travel agency platforms is preferred.
