Description:
Position Summary The Activities Supervisor is responsible for leading and executing all resort programming across the property, creating a seamless and engaging guest experience. This role owns the development, coordination, and delivery of a diverse activities calendar that includes recreation, social, outdoor, and wellness-based offerings. Wellness is integrated as a key component of the overall experience, contributing to a balanced and intentional guest journey. This position plays a vital role in bringing to life the purpose of The Springs Resort— caring for the enhanced wellbeing of all —by creating meaningful opportunities for guests to explore, restore, connect, and revitalize. Key Responsibilities Programming & Experience Execution Develop, manage, and execute a daily, weekly, and seasonal activities calendar Ensure a balanced mix of programming across recreation, social, outdoor, and wellness experiences Integrate wellness offerings (e.g., yoga, mindfulness, soaking activations) into the broader programming schedule Maintain consistency and quality across all guest-facing experiences Continuously evaluate and evolve programming based on guest engagement and feedback Team Leadership & Scheduling Lead, schedule, and support the Activities Team , including wellness instructors and activity coordinators Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure strong service delivery Ensure proper staffing levels based on occupancy, seasonality, and programming needs Foster a collaborative, positive, and purpose-driven team environment Guest Experience & Engagement Act as a visible and active host on property , especially during key programming times Create engaging, welcoming, and intentional guest interactions Anticipate guest needs and ensure experiences feel personalized and meaningful Support a culture of inviting rather than directing , creating moments rather than transactions Event & Operational Support Partner with Events, Spa, Front Desk, Bathhouse, and other departments to ensure seamless experience delivery Support group programming and special events as needed Assist with coordination of supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships Ensure all activities are executed safely and in alignment with resort standards Programming Philosophy All experiences are designed to support a balanced guest journey: Wellness is integrated throughout, enhancing the experience without operating as a standalone offering.
Requirements:
Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in hospitality, resort programming, recreation, or guest experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong organizational and scheduling skills Outgoing, guest-focused personality with excellent communication skills Experience with wellness or fitness programming is a plus, but not require A plus if you have a yoga certification. Expectations Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Maintain a high level of professionalism and guest service at all times Adapt to changing programming needs and seasonal demands Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills
