Position Overview:
The Salon Manager will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of Tips 202, overseeing a team of 8-12 talented nail technicians and 1 cleaner. Reporting directly to the Salon Owner and Director of Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, client relations, scheduling, and ensuring smooth salon operations. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is eager to implement systems to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the salon. Supervise and support a team of 6-8 nail technicians and 1 cleaner. Manage the client pipeline, ensuring a seamless customer experience from booking to service completion. Handle customer relations, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Schedule appointments and coordinate staff schedules to optimize salon operations. Answer phones and respond to emails, providing excellent customer service. Implement and improve salon processes and systems to increase efficiency and productivity. Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the beauty or wellness industry. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with scheduling. Proficiency in answering phones and managing emails. Computer & tech savvy. Nail technician license is a plus, but not required. Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to contribute to a growing startup.
