Job Description

Description The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting and, when delegated, leading the overall management of a parking facility. This role supervises staff, manages operational processes, and exercises independent judgment in staffing, client relations, and financial performance. The Assistant Manager acts as second-in-command and assumes full operational responsibility in the absence of the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage location staff, including delegating tasks, coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Participate in hiring decisions, including interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new employees; make recommendations for promotions and terminations. Assist in scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and property managers when delegated; attend meetings and resolve client concerns to maintain strong relationships. Monitor and manage facility maintenance and safety standards, including overseeing maintenance projects and ensuring timely completion. Oversee ticket inventory, cash flow, audits, and loss prevention strategies; implement corrective actions as needed. Review and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports; make operational adjustments to achieve budget goals and improve profitability. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in resolving escalated guest concerns, operational issues, and staffing challenges. Respond to incidents and accidents promptly, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and reporting requirements. Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and team members at all times. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 1-2 years of experience in parking operations, hospitality, or customer service. Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver License and good driving record.

Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Ability to drive
