Perform specialized techniques such as balayage, color theory applications, straight razor shaves, hair threading, and retail product recommendations. Manage daily salon operations including front desk duties, appointment scheduling using salon software like Vagaro, and maintaining a clean, sanitized environment in accordance with sanitation standards. Mentor and support junior team members by sharing skills in hair styling, retail sales, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence. Oversee store management tasks such as inventory control, retail math calculations, and sales tracking to maximize revenue opportunities. Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication skills and personalized consultations. Lead by example during shifts to ensure high standards of sanitation and professionalism are maintained at all times. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license with experience in hair styling application. Proficiency in salon software systems such as Vagaro for scheduling and client management. Demonstrated expertise in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair waxing. Strong understanding of sanitation protocols and store management practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor team members and engage clients effectively. Knowledge of retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math to enhance revenue streams. Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
