- Full-time FS Cut & Color is looking for a motivated, professional, and experienced Assistant Manager to join our vibrant salon leadership team.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about the beauty industry, enjoys helping others grow, and is ready to support daily salon operations while continuing to provide excellent service behind the chair. This is a great opportunity for a licensed cosmetologist who is ready to take the next step in leadership, grow their clientele, and contribute to a positive, high-performing salon environment. Job Summary The Assistant Manager will help lead daily salon operations, support team development, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to business growth. This role requires strong leadership, a great attitude, flexibility, and a well-rounded skill set in salon services, retail sales, client care, and social media engagement. Requirements The ideal candidate must have: A valid cosmetology license Been licensed for at least 2 years At least 1 year of management, assistant manager, or supervisory experience A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed A positive attitude and strong work ethic Experience and confidence in all salon services, including cuts, color, styling, and consultations An existing clientele or the ability to build and retain guests Strong communication and customer service skills Confidence using or helping grow the salon's presence on social media Knowledge of POS systems; Zenoti experience is a plus Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing daily salon operations, including scheduling, shift management, and workflow Supporting, motivating, and guiding the salon team toward growth and success Training, coaching, and helping team members reach their goals Providing excellent guest service and ensuring client satisfaction Performing a variety of salon services behind the chair Handling customer concerns professionally and effectively Assisting with retail sales, product merchandising, and promotional activities Monitoring inventory, stock control, and product availability Performing accurate POS transactions Assisting with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members Supporting marketing and social media efforts to attract and retain clients Maintaining a clean, professional, positive, and team-focused salon environment Leading by example in attitude, service, teamwork, and performance Skills The ideal candidate should have: Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Attention to detail with inventory, scheduling, and administrative tasks Experience with training and development Knowledge of merchandising, budgeting, marketing, and salon operations A passion for creating a positive workplace culture A desire to help grow both the team and the business Join Our Team Join FS Cut & Color and help lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional hair care experiences.
