Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and organized Salon Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our salon, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our staff in delivering top-notch services. This position requires strong communication skills, retail experience, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and assist them with scheduling appointments and inquiries. Manage the salon's point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions and record-keeping. Supervise salon staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Conduct product demonstrations to educate clients on available services and products. Maintain an organized retail space through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and feedback promptly. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and welcoming salon environment. Requirements Previous experience in a retail or salon environment is preferred. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective client interactions. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele. Basic math skills required for cash handling and retail math tasks. Experience with cashiering duties within a retail setting is essential. A background in sales with an emphasis on upselling techniques is beneficial. Knowledge of product demos related to beauty or personal care products is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual responsibilities.
