https://lavisshlife.com Duties Construct garments and samples from detailed patterns and technical specifications using various sewing techniques. Operate sewing machines efficiently, ensuring precision and consistency across all pieces. Interpret design sketches, technical drawings, and sample instructions to produce accurate prototypes. Collaborate with the design and production teams to troubleshoot fit issues and refine garment details. Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with safety and quality standards. Assist in developing new sample styles by applying garment construction best practices. Ensure timely completion of samples while adhering to quality control protocols. Experience Proven experience in garment construction and sewing, with a strong portfolio of completed projects or samples. Proficiency with various sewing machines and techniques used in apparel manufacturing. Knowledge of pattern reading, fabric handling, and finishing techniques. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a production setting. Familiarity with sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting is desirable. Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Application Question(s): Please submit 5-10 photos of garments you personally created. We are particularly interested in luxury fashion, resortwear, dresses, matching sets, cover-ups, and contemporary women's apparel. For at least 1 of the garments submitted, please also provide: Photos or videos taken during the construction process Photos of the garment interior, including seams, hems, zippers, and finishing details A brief description of your role in creating the garment For this garment, please indicate which of the following you completed: □ Pattern creation □ Pattern modification □ Sample construction □ Fittings and alterations □ Garment finishing -Please walk us through your process for one garment, from concept or pattern to finished sample, including any challenges you encountered and how you solved them.
