Open shift (7:30AM•1:30PM) or Close shift (1:30PM•6:30PM)

Part-time:

15-25 hrs/week. Monday•

Saturday Compensation:

Starting at $20-23/hour, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in garment alterations, repairs, and custom sewing, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. This role requires proficiency in operating sewing machines, hand-sewing techniques, and working with a variety of fabrics to deliver excellent results and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform garment alterations including hemming, tapering, resizing, patching, and repairs Construct or modify clothing according to customer specifications Measure clients accurately and provide fitting consultations as needed Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines safely and efficiently Hand-stitch delicate fabrics and finishing details when required Inspect finished garments to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate clearly with team members regarding job timelines and special requests Support the team as front attendant as needed. Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service Tag, sort, and organize incoming garments for cleaning Operate point-of-sale system and process payments accurately Inspect cleaned items for quality before returning to customers Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or alteration specialist Proficiency with sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fitting techniques Strong attention to detail and precision Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Good communication and customer service skills Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Preferred Qualifications Experience in a alteration shop environment Fashion or garment construction training Ability to work with garment wear, formalwear, or delicate fabrics Compensation Hourly rate, starting at $20-23/hr, based on experience Flexible schedule Opportunity for growth within the company
