Responsibilities Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble various furniture components with precision and care Cut fabric and upholstery materials according to detailed patterns and specifications Sew seams, attach decorative elements, and finish edges to ensure a polished look and long-lasting durability Collaborate with team members to assemble furniture frames, cushions, and upholstery components seamlessly Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing or warehouse setting Inspect finished pieces for quality assurance, ensuring all stitching is secure and meets design standards Follow safety protocols diligently while handling equipment and materials throughout the production process Experience Proven experience in garment construction or upholstery sewing within a manufacturing or warehouse environment Proficiency with sewing machines and various sewing techniques required for furniture upholstery Strong understanding of fabric types, cutting methods, and finishing processes specific to furniture production Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Ability to interpret technical drawings or patterns accurately and follow detailed instructions with precision This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to craft high-quality furniture pieces while honing their sewing skills in a collaborative environment.
