The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a keen eye for fashion. This role involves creating, altering, and repairing garments while ensuring high-quality standards are met. The Seamstress will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Duties Construct, alter, and repair garments according to specifications and customer requests. Operate sewing machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their garment needs. Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools and materials in order. Perform basic math calculations for measurements, fabric requirements, and pricing. Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and productivity. Requirements Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques. Familiarity with various sewing machines and tools. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Previous experience in fashion retail is a plus but not required. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
