Duties Use sewing machines and hand stitching techniques to assemble, alter, or repair garments with precision and care Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and make necessary adjustments to clothing items Follow detailed garment construction patterns and specifications to produce high-quality clothing pieces Maintain cleanliness and organization of sewing stations and tools for optimal workflow Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure consistency, durability, and aesthetic appeal Skills Proven experience in sewing machine operation and garment construction techniques Excellent sewing skills, including hand stitching, hemming, fitting adjustments, and fabric handling Ability to interpret patterns, measurements, and technical drawings accurately Basic math skills for measuring, pattern adjustments, and fabric calculations Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship and timely completion of projects.
