Alterations Specialist (Tailor) (Miami, FL) - Full Time The Alterations Specialist performs garment alterations and repairs to ensure proper fit, quality, and appearance of finished apparel. Duties include hemming, tapering, resizing, and adjusting garments in accordance with established specifications. The position involves conducting garment fittings; taking, recording, and applying measurements; and pinning and marking garments in preparation for alterations. The Alterations Specialist sews, alters, and repairs garments using industrial sewing machines and hand tools and performs required hand-finishing. The role also includes pressing and finishing garments, inspecting completed work for accuracy and quality, and ensuring that alterations are completed within established delivery timelines and quality standards.$72,300.00 per year. 24 months of experience as Tailor, Alterations Specialist, Custom Sewer, Seamster, Seamstress, or in a related garment alteration occupation.
