Production Artist / Screen Print and Embroidery Specialist

Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on Graphics Department Leader to oversee and elevate our screen printing and embroidery operations. This role blends leadership, production expertise, and creative problem-solving. You'll manage a team of artists and technicians, ensure production quality, and streamline workflows from concept to finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the graphics department, including designers, separators, and production artists Oversee artwork preparation for screen printing and embroidery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Review and approve designs, separations, digitizing, and proofs before production Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet client expectations and deadlines Optimize workflows, file management, and production processes Train and mentor team members on best practices in screen printing and embroidery graphics Troubleshoot artwork or production issues and implement solutions quickly Maintain quality standards across all decorated products Stay current with industry trends, software, and techniques

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in screen printing and embroidery graphics Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a production or graphics environment Strong understanding of color separations, inks, garment decoration processes, and embroidery digitizing Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and relevant digitizing software Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automated screen printing workflows Knowledge of RIP software and advanced separation techniques Familiarity with production scheduling and shop management systems
