$15/Hr plus commission Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Seamstress / Tailor to join our team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality garment alterations and repairs while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is skilled, efficient, and takes pride in delivering a perfect fit for every customer. Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of alterations including hemming, taking in/letting out garments, zipper replacements, and repairs
- Take accurate measurements and properly pin garments for alterations
- Operate sewing machines and perform hand sewing as needed
- Work with a variety of fabrics including denim, wool, silk, and delicate materials
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed on time
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding alterations, fit, and expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow Qualifications
- Previous experience in sewing or garment alterations (1-3+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and proper fit
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Physical Requirements
