As a seamstress/ tailor, you will be responsible for altering and repairing garments to meet the specific needs of our clients, ensuring that each piece fits perfectly and meets quality standards. Responsibilities Perform alterations on a variety of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear. Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute precise alterations. Assess garment construction and make necessary adjustments for optimal fit. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their preferences and requirements. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available. Keep track of orders and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery of completed garments. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service quality and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques. Strong understanding of garment construction principles. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to alterations. Previous experience in fashion retail or tailoring is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
