Seamstress Tailor The Alteration House Naperville, IL Job Details Part-time $17 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Full Job Description Seamstress / Tailor Position - The Alteration House (Naperville, IL) We are looking for a skilled seamstress or tailor to join our team at The Alteration House. This position is open to both men and women with experience in garment alterations. We work on a variety of garments, but the main focus for this role is women's clothing, especially formal and special occasion dresses.

Key Responsibilities:

Alterations on formal dresses (prom, evening, bridesmaid) Hemming (including multiple layers such as chiffon, tulle, satin, etc.) Taking in and letting out dresses (sides, back, waist) Adjusting straps and sleeves Working with structured garments (boning, lining, zippers) Basic alterations on skirts and women's pants

Requirements:

Experience with different types of fabrics and garment construction Ability to handle detailed and delicate work Clean and professional sewing finish Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Pay:

$17-$20 per hour, depending on experience and production

Language:

Basic English is helpful. You do not need to be fluent, just enough to communicate.

Esta posición está abierta para hombres y mujeres con experiencia en alteraciones de ropa. Trabajamos con todo tipo de prendas, pero el enfoque principal de este puesto es ropa de dama, especialmente vestidos formales y de ocasión especial.

Responsabilidades principales:

Requisitos:

Experiencia con diferentes tipos de tela y construcción de prendas Habilidad para trabajos detallados y delicados Costura limpia y profesional Capacidad de trabajar de forma independiente y manejar bien el tiempo

Pago:

$17-$20 por hora, dependiendo de la experiencia y la producción
