Job Description
Clearstaff in Chicago is currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator with experience operating Juki cover-stitch and double needle sewing machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sewing garments or textile products according to production specifications while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. 1st shift 7AM-3:30PM (seasonal position from June-October) $19.00 Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines including single needle, serger, and coverstitch. Complete orders accurately and efficiently during daily shifts. Meet or exceed daily production quotas. Re-thread machines, replace needles, and wind bobbins. Perform basic machine maintenance including cleaning and minor repairs. Qualifications 1-2+ years of industrial sewing machine experience required. Experience with at least two machine types (single needle, serger, or coverstitch). Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods. Ability to understand instructions and communicate with team members required (Spanish and English spoken on-site).
