This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant fashion retail environment, specializing in tailoring high-quality suits and garments for all gender expressions/identities. You will be responsible for customizing, fitting, and altering suits to meet individual customer needs, ensuring each piece fits perfectly and looks impeccable. Duties Measure clients accurately to determine tailoring requirements for suits and garments Alter and adjust suits using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to ensure optimal fit and style Assist customers by providing expert advice on suit styles, fabrics, and fitting options Construct or modify garments according to specifications, maintaining high-quality standards Operate sewing machines efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and sewing stations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tailoring requests and excellent customer satisfaction Skills Experience in fashion retail and garment tailoring is mandatory Strong sewing skills with proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines Knowledge of garment construction techniques and tailoring processes Excellent customer service abilities with clear communication skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently Attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality finished products This role is ideal for experienced tailors who thrive within a lively retail setting.
