Your expertise will help customers look and feel their best, providing personalized service that elevates their shopping experience. Responsibilities Measure clients accurately to determine the best fit for their garments Alter and tailor clothing items to meet customer specifications, ensuring proper fit and finish Operate sewing machines efficiently and safely to construct or modify garments Assist customers with selecting fabrics, styles, and alterations to suit their preferences Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sewing stations and tools Communicate clearly with customers about the progress of their garments and any necessary adjustments Follow safety protocols when handling sewing equipment and materials Requirements Proven experience in fashion retail or tailoring, with a strong understanding of garment construction Proficiency in sewing machine operation and sewing techniques Knowledge of basic math for measurements, pattern adjustments, and fabric calculations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to listen carefully and provide tailored solutions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with sewing tools, patterns, fabrics, and garment fitting standards Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers Join us as a Tailor and bring your craftsmanship to life by creating beautifully fitting garments that leave customers delighted!
