Custom Designer/Builder

• $20•$26 an hour or BOE•Boyne City PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Manufacturing client in Boyne City, MI who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Custom Designer/Builder.

Custom Designer/Builder Responsibilities:

Lead measurement and layout of customer-supplied components to support custom design projects Create detailed 3D models and production drawings using

SOLIDWORKS

Design custom instrument panels and components that combine modern technology with classic styling Collaborate with engineering, production, and internal teams to move projects from concept to completion Assist with prototype development and refinement of custom builds Support continuous improvement initiatives for design standards and processes Participate in occasional hands-on production and shop collaboration as needed

Custom Designer/Builder Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of

SOLIDWORKS

experience with strong CAD design fundamentals Ability to translate measurements and concepts into precise, manufacturable designs Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on custom projects Manufacturing, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus Interest in automotive performance, hot rods, or custom builds preferred
