Someone who already does alterations and has a flexible schedule to come in for pinnings would be a good fit. You can work from your own space, whether that be at home or your own personal office. Only requirement is to come in for pinnings and drop garments back when they are ready. We can work with you on hours and discuss how to go about that, as well as talk about pay. Duties Measure customers accurately to determine the necessary alterations for a perfect fit Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to modify garments with precision and care Adjust hems, take in or let out seams, replace zippers, and perform other garment construction tasks Provide friendly, professional customer service by explaining alteration options and timelines Ensure all alterations meet quality standards and are completed within designated timeframes Collaborate with team members to manage workload efficiently during busy periods Qualifications Proven experience in fashion retail or tailoring, with strong sewing machine skills Knowledge of garment construction and sewing techniques Ability to interpret customer requests accurately and communicate effectively Basic math skills for measuring and calculating alterations Familiarity with sewing machines and hand-sewing tools required for garment adjustments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Join us as an Alterations Tailor and help us deliver personalized fashion solutions that make every customer feel their best!
