Mr. Sewing Machine is looking for a Sewing Machine Technician to join our talented Team. Our Technician will be responsible for cleaning and repairing sewing machines, as well as assisting our Customers with courtesy and compassion. Mr. Sewing Machine is a sewing supply store and sewing machine repair shop. We sell the full line of Baby Lock sewing machines. With over 25 years of experience repairing machines in Dallas, TX, our Team takes immense pride in the highest level of quality and customer service.

Duties will include:

Diagnose, clean and repair domestic sewing machines in a variety of makes and models. Consult with Customers on the diagnosis and solution for their sewing machines. Learn and operate the full line of Baby Lock sewing machines. Inform Customers about store services, products, and education. Update orders in our point of sale software system. Accurately and precisely complete all service paperwork. Maintain parts and repair supply inventory. Follow all procedures for proper management of our service queue and turn-around times. Assist in calling Customers when orders are completed. Follow verbal and written instructions thoroughly. Maintain a clean and well organized work environment Skills we are looking for: Previous experience in small appliance repair. Manual dexterity and willingness to get your hands dirty. High energy, multi-tasker with time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills. Bilingual is strongly preferred. Detailed oriented. Friendly and professional phone presence. Focused, authentic, and strong team player. Committed, trustworthy, and reliable. Sewing Experience preferred Experience with a retail point of sale system is a plus

Additional Job Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry sewing machines up to 30 lbs. Must be able to work full-time with weekday & weekend availability Must attend weekly staff meeting and all required training
