$21.50-23.50

DOE Hours:

Monday-Friday 5 am-1:30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates sewing machine to pattern assembly material for building. 2 - 5 years experience operating an industrial power sewing machine. Draw patterns carefully. Cutting and sewing covers for upholstered boat cushions and canvas Bimini tops. Cut new material for sewing as needed. Operates a walking foot sewing machine to seam cushions and join various sections of covering material. Developing specific plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish proper order shipment dates. Able to teach proper seamstress methods to other employees in order to develop their skills. Check the completion of work and quality. Identify and communicate possible quality discrepancies to other employees. Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment and report any damage or broken equipment immediately. Keep track of supplies and complete order sheets to place supply orders. Follows all safety rules and directives- timely reporting of all workplace injuries or near misses. Other duties as directed.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis. Ability to bend, stoop, lift, climb, balance and reach for the duration of the shift. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for the entire duration of shift. Ability to keep up with fast-paced environments. Ability to use hands for the duration of the shift
