Duties Perform custom tattooing and body art procedures with precision and artistry, ensuring each design aligns with client expectations. Consult with clients to understand their ideas, provide expert advice on design options, color choices, and placement. Maintain strict sanitation protocols by sterilizing equipment, using disposable supplies, and adhering to health regulations to ensure client safety. Manage studio operations including appointment scheduling, store management tasks, and inventory control of inks, needles, and supplies. Educate clients on aftercare procedures to promote healing and long-lasting results. Foster excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing questions promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction. Stay current with industry trends in tattooing techniques, color theory, and safety standards through ongoing education and practice. Skills Proficiency in tattooing techniques across various styles such as realism, traditional, neo-traditional, or illustrative art. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to body art studios. Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration. Basic first aid knowledge to handle any minor incidents or emergencies confidently. Demonstrated ability in store management tasks including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean workspace. Solid understanding of color theory to achieve vibrant, harmonious designs tailored to individual skin tones. Customer service excellence with a friendly approach that builds trust and repeat business. Artistic skills in illustration or drawing that support creative design development for clients.
