Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their ideas, preferences, and desired tattoo concepts, offering professional guidance and suggestions. Prepare skin for tattooing by cleaning, sterilizing, and applying appropriate stencils or freehand designs. Operate tattoo equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring precision and consistency in every piece. Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to health regulations at all times. Provide excellent customer service by creating a comfortable environment, answering questions, and addressing concerns throughout the process. Manage appointment schedules, handle walk-in clients, and promote studio services to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth. Keep detailed records of each tattoo procedure, including ink colors used and aftercare instructions provided. Requirements Proven experience in tattooing with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in styles such as realism, traditional, or illustrative work. Proficiency in tattooing techniques along with a solid understanding of color theory to achieve vibrant and harmonious designs. Knowledge of sanitation protocols and ability to maintain a sterile workspace according to health department standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members while ensuring clarity of expectations. Certification or training in first aid is preferred to handle any unforeseen situations professionally. Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen actively and translate client ideas into beautiful artwork. Basic store management skills are a plus for those interested in contributing beyond artistry roles.
