This opportunity is ideal for artists who are confident in their craft, professional in their conduct, and capable of working independently while contributing positively to a team environment. We welcome artists who already have an established clientele, but we are also open to talented professionals looking to continue building their following. Our studio values creativity, professionalism, reliability, and strong customer relationships. This is a commission-based position with flexible scheduling and full access to the studio at all hours, even when the business below is closed. Responsibilities Create custom, high-quality tattoos tailored to each client's vision and preferences Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation in accordance with all health and sanitation regulations Communicate professionally with clients regarding design ideas, placement, pricing, and aftercare Promote your work and the tattoo studio consistently through social media platforms Work collaboratively with fellow artists and contribute to a positive studio atmosphere Be available for walk-ins and call-in appointments when possible Manage your own scheduling, pricing structure, and client relationships professionally Stay current on tattoo trends, techniques, and safety standards Requirements Prior professional tattooing experience required Strong portfolio showcasing tattoo work and artistic versatility Must be capable of working independently without training or apprenticeship Comfortable working in a building located above a firearms store Strong interpersonal and communication skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safe tattooing practices Ability to attract and retain clientele is preferred, but not required Compensation & Studio Expectations Artists set their own hourly rates and pricing The studio retains 30% of all tattoo earnings This is a job-by-job commission position with no guaranteed hourly pay There are no mandatory set hours If you do not have appointments scheduled, you are not required to be in the studio Artists are encouraged to remain available for walk-ins and call-in opportunities when possible The studio provides and maintains medical and sanitation equipment Artists are responsible for supplying their own tattoo machines, needles, and ink

Pay:

$80.00 - $250.00 per hour
