Responsibilities:

Assist experienced skilled trades teams in a fast-paced advanced steel fabrication environment Gain exposure to structural and precision steel fabrication processes and shop operations Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and in accordance with shop standards Learn proper tools, materials, and safety practices Support ongoing manufacturing projects Attend training sessions focused on fabrication techniques and industry best practices Learn proper material handling, finishing, and quality inspection practices Document work processes and maintain accurate records as required

Required Qualifications:

18 years of age or older Commitment to complying with workplace safety and company policies Strong willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality — consistent presence is essential to supporting the team and maximizing hands-on learning opportunities Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Trade preparatory classes or welding experience Mathematics and/or Drafting classes Good communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb more than 300 feet. Must be able to pull own weight when climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding up to 150 feet. Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 pounds. Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields. All the physical demands listed are essential functions. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
