JOB SUMMARY
Perform sheet metal operations, install interior shell panels and complete interior operations to prepare aircraft for cabinet installation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
(ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
): Work from blueprints, sketches, diagrams, CATIA models, or verbal instructions. Performs calculations for angles, circumference, diameter, and bend allowances, using shop math to fabricate and/or install complete or major assemblies and sub-assemblies. Modifies completed assemblies and sub-assemblies. Performs check of fabricated items and/or checkout of systems installed. Utilizes aircraft tooling to perform precision sheet metal operations and installations. Install interior shell panels and completes various interior operations. Sets up and operates standard shop equipment Recommends and suggests improved production methods. Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and Company Safety procedures. Cleans work area and aircraft to eliminate and control FOD (Foreign Object Debris). Makes proper entries in Production and Planning Logs and documents all work in computerized system. Completes assigned jobs in prescribed time. Conceives, manufactures and adapts installation tools, to improve repetitiveness and work hours. Protects aircraft components Practice continuous improvements and propose process improvements Ability to complete rework in assigned work area One to two work zones (i.e. main cabin area) Ability to work seat tracks and flooring
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

): Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Must have at least (6 months) of aircraft manufacturing experience or related mechanical experience, or can be substituted for with one (1) year of A&P Vocational School. Able to work from drawings, sketches, pictures, or verbal specifications. Must be able to use calibrated tools, measuring devices, and set up and operate standard shop equipment. Able to drill per defined tolerances Able to enter or exit aircraft work stands in a safe manner. Able to work from adjustable height stands in a safe manner and be able to climb steps to approximately 25 feet in height, with or without reasonable accommodation. Able to use motorized portable personnel lifts that extend up to 25 feet in height. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience applying adhesive materials. Experience with material shaping and forming. Experience using air tools and equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work location for this position is mainly in a climate-controlled hangar with occasional outside work. This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position because it includes as part of the essential job duties operating equipment and tools on a routine basis. Additionally, the duties of this position concern the service and completion of aircraft, and overall airworthiness of the aircraft. This position is one in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death. For the safety of this employee and others, the employee must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time while performing safety activities.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The compensation for this position typically falls between $24.00 and $27.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for shift differential. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
