• Responsibilities for an Upholsterer include but are not limited to:
• + Perform cutting, sewing, and assembly of automotive seat trim covers using materials such as leather, vinyl, and fabric + Operate industrial sewing machines and tools to complete high-quality upholstery and stitching for prototype seating + Assemble automotive seat components, including foam, frames, and trim, ensuring proper fit, finish, and functionality + Read and interpret patterns, work instructions, and engineering drawings to support prototype builds and design changes + Conduct quality inspections and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy, durability, and craftsmanship standards •Candidates for Automotive Upholsterer must meet the following requirements to be considered:•+ Minimum 5 years of automotive upholstery or seat trim experience (automotive experience required) + Proven ability to cut and sew complex patterns with precision and attention to detail + Experience with automotive seating assembly, prototype builds, or interior systems + Proficiency operating industrial sewing machines and upholstery equipment + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, patterns, and build instructions + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment •What's in this Automotive Upholsterer position for you?
