Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Upholstery Stuffer & Helper to join our team. This role specializes in stuffing, assembling and assisting with Upholstery orders and performing other miscellaneous tasks when needed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous Upholstery or furniture warehouse experience is a plus, but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn valuable upholstery skills while becoming part of a dynamic team. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with stuffing cushions and padding into furniture frames using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and comfort. Support the upholstery team by handling fabric cutting and material preparation. Use hand and power tools such as staple guns, tack guns, scissors, and other upholstery equipment safely and accurately Receive and check incoming purchase orders. Wrap and prepare completed orders for loading and delivery Restock inventory manually Having strong product knowledge Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, product type, collection, etc., ensuring accuracy Help with the assembly of furniture components, ensuring alignment and quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing tools and materials after each task Assist with additional upholstery, warehouse, or production tasks as needed
Requirements:
A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a team environment Willingness to learn new skills related to assembly, sewing, and material handling Furniture warehouse experience is a plus Good communication skills; English is a plus. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving goods safely and efficiently; lift 50 lbs. or more. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities Flexible, dependable, punctual, and willing to adapt to changing priorities Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Job Type:
Full-time 8 Hours Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Weekends when needed
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
