Role:

Responsibilities:

Measure and cut upholstery materials to fit various furniture designs. Apply padding, fabric, and leather to furniture frames with precision. Repair and restore existing upholstery to meet quality standards. Collaborate with designers to select appropriate materials and finishes. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and client satisfaction. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Stay updated on industry trends and upholstery techniques.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a commercial upholsterer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials. Ability to read and interpret design specifications and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment. High school diploma or equivalent; upholstery certification is a plus. Positive attitude and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
