Powder Coating Specialist

Please read the entire job posting, you will be asked questions on it. Powder Coating Application Specialist- Seeking reliable, hard-working production worker for our expanding operation. You would be a vital part of our team ensuring production quotas are met in a timely manner while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Expectations- Full time, 40 hours per week Monday- Friday 8:00a-4:00p. If you are not able to work these hours every week please do not apply. Reliable and punctual as well as able to perform physical tasks that may be repetitive. If you are not reliable and punctual do not apply. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, have great attention for detail and able to powder coat without being closely observed. Duties and Responsibilities- Work on line with consistent speed and accuracy Make efforts to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, wrapping, packing, taping. Ability to follow all written and verbal instructions. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all team members to meet deadlines. Demonstrate positive and professional attitude able to work overtime as needed. Sandblasting, working with power tools, heavy equipment, grinding tools, sanding tools etc. Power wash and phosphate rinse Operating Ovens. General cleaning and maintenance. Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent. Good communication skills. If you do not like to communicate, do not apply. Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching. Ability to operate forklift (preferred). Valid drivers license. Follow and maintain safety procedures while utilizing all PPE correctly. Work Environment- Frequently exposed to extreme heat or cold. We are not joking, it gets very hot. Over 110 degrees F, if this is a problem do not apply. Occasionally exposed to fumes, chemicals, airborne particles. Noise levels are generally loud.
