In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and upholstering high-quality furniture pieces, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in furniture manufacturing, upholstery techniques, and the use of various hand and power tools. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to creating functional and aesthetically appealing furniture that enhances our customers' spaces. Responsibilities Construct and assemble furniture components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to ensure durability and precision. Operate sewing machines and perform sewing tasks to upholster furniture pieces with fabric, leather, or other materials. Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately for upholstery projects, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Assist in auto restoration projects by refurbishing or restoring furniture pieces to their original condition. Follow detailed work orders and blueprints to ensure each piece aligns with design specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols when handling tools and materials. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during assembly or upholstery processes and implement solutions efficiently. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, chisels, and measuring devices. Experience operating sewing machines and performing sewing tasks related to upholstery. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes related to furniture construction. Familiarity with auto restoration techniques is a plus. Ability to assemble furniture accurately following technical instructions. Competence in handling power tools safely and effectively. Attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in every project.
