Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Experienced Upholsterer to join our upholstery department. This position involves upholstering pre-cut materials onto furniture frames— no sewing or fabric cutting required. This is a hands-on, fast-paced production role where precision, speed, and pride in your work are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Upholster seats, backs, and other furniture components using pre-cut fabric and foam. Staple upholstery materials securely to wooden frames using pneumatic staplers. Ensure a neat, wrinkle-free, and professional finish on each piece. Inspect upholstered pieces for defects and correct as needed. Work efficiently to meet daily production targets. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate and coordinate with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in furniture upholstery is required. Skilled in using staple guns and hand tools in a production setting. Able to maintain consistency and quality under time pressure. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious— perfect attendance is rewarded.
