Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Auto Glass and/or Upholstery Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring automotive glass and upholstery components with precision and care. Your expertise will help ensure vehicles are safe, functional, and visually appealing, providing excellent service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in auto restoration, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques while working in a fast-paced environment that values quality craftsmanship and teamwork. Duties Install, replace, and repair automotive glass using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to ensure a secure fit and optimal safety standards. Repair or replace upholstery components, including seats, headliners, door panels, and carpets, utilizing sewing machines and sewing techniques for durable results. Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying adhesives or sealants for proper adhesion of glass or upholstery parts. Use manufacturing and assembly skills to measure, cut, shape, and fit materials accurately according to vehicle specifications. Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to verify proper fitment, finish quality, and adherence to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during repairs. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to explain procedures, timelines, and care instructions for completed work. Experience Prior experience working with hand tools, power tools, sewing machines or sewing techniques in an automotive or manufacturing setting is preferred. Knowledge of auto restoration processes including glass installation and upholstery repair is highly desirable but not required. Familiarity with assembly procedures related to vehicle interior components or auto body work will be advantageous. Ability to read technical diagrams or instructions related to automotive glass or upholstery installation. Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for handling delicate materials and precise fitting tasks. Previous experience in manufacturing environments involving assembly lines or production workflows is a plus but not required.
