Job Description
Role snapshot Join a hands-on role focused on precision assembly for marine builds. Core responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout specifications to plan assembly. Fit, align, and assemble structural sections for ships, barges, and other marine vessels. Measure stock, then cut and grind components to required dimensions. Tack pieces to hold alignment and prepare all metal components for welding. Use shipyard tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and grinders.
