Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Furniture Upholsterer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will bring furniture pieces to life by expertly applying upholstery techniques, ensuring each item meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your creativity and technical skills will contribute to transforming raw materials into beautifully finished furniture that delights our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in upholstery, assembly, and manufacturing within a supportive and energetic environment. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and prepare fabric, leather, or other upholstery materials using hand tools and sewing machines Attach padding, fabric, or leather to furniture frames with precision and care Operate power tools safely to assemble furniture components and perform repairs or restorations Sew fabric or leather covers using sewing machines, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal Inspect finished products for quality, fit, and finish before final assembly or delivery Assist with auto restoration projects involving upholstered parts for vehicle interiors Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and upholstery techniques Knowledge of sewing and manufacturing processes related to furniture production Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality craftsmanship Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed Prior experience in auto restoration or furniture assembly is a plus but not required Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills Join us in creating exceptional furniture pieces that bring comfort and style into homes!
