Duties Measure, cut, sew, and assemble upholstery materials using hand tools and sewing machines to create durable, aesthetically pleasing finishes. Remove old upholstery from furniture or vehicle interiors carefully, ensuring no damage to underlying structures. Repair or replace foam padding, springs, and other internal components to restore comfort and support. Operate power tools safely to cut fabric, trim frames, or assemble components efficiently. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality. Inspect finished products for consistency, durability, and visual appeal before delivery or installation. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and safety protocols are followed. Requirements Proven experience with hand tools, sewing machines, and power tools used in upholstery or manufacturing environments. Strong sewing skills with an understanding of various stitching techniques required for upholstery work. Knowledge of auto restoration processes is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to read measurements accurately and follow detailed instructions for assembly and repair tasks. Experience working with manufacturing processes or assembly lines is desirable. Excellent attention to detail coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
