Upholstery Technician

C&L Aviation Services (a C&L Aviation Group company) is seeking Upholstery Technicians to join our Interior Shop team. Job Responsibilities Read and interpret design/engineering drawings and aircraft specifications Strip, chemically clean, repair, and cover flat panels, bulkheads, and seat panels Work with fabric, vinyl, leather, composites, and other materials using adhesives, sewing equipment, hand tools, and power tools Cut and surge carpets Inspect leather hides for defects and perform layout work Trace and cut seat patterns Install aircraft interior components including window panels, headliners, sidewalls, and baggage panels Sew and upholster covers using design specifications (as needed) Collaborate with lead technicians to improve processes, enhance safety, and reduce costs and cycle time Ensure proper protection of aircraft interiors both inside and outside the aircraft Follow all safety, housekeeping, and PPE requirements Use material tracking systems to issue parts and complete work order sign-offs

Job Requirements Preferred:

Minimum of 2 years of upholstery or related experience Experience in marine or automotive upholstery is a plus Ability to work with various materials and tools in a production environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
