Cake Builder / Icer

Job Overview Ryke's Bakery in Muskegon is currently looking for talented individuals to join our team as Cake Builder & Icers. As a Cake Builder & Icers, you will play a crucial role in creating delectable and visually stunning cakes for our valued customers. No prior experience is required for this position, as we are willing to provide training to the right candidates.

Responsibilities:

Prepare cakes for assembly by cutting, filling, and stacking them according to customer preferences and specifications. Follow instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste in every cake. Use various tools and equipment to shape cakes into desired shapes and sizes. Pay close attention to detail to ensure the finished cakes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and fulfill customer orders efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper sanitation and food safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Passion for working with cakes and a keen eye for detail. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and adapt. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus, but not required.
