Overview Join our dynamic team as a Marine Upholsterer and bring expert craftsmanship to the world of boat interiors! In this role, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and restoring high-quality upholstery for marine vessels. Your skills will help ensure that each boat's interior is both functional and visually stunning, providing comfort and style for boat owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to excellence in marine manufacturing and auto restoration projects. Duties Measure, cut, and assemble upholstery materials using hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines to meet precise specifications. Repair or replace damaged upholstery components on various marine vessels, including seats, cushions, panels, and headliners. Operate sewing machines to stitch fabric, vinyl, leather, or other upholstery materials securely and accurately. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to prepare surfaces, install new upholstery, and perform detailed finishing work. Collaborate with team members during assembly processes to ensure seamless integration of upholstery into the vessel's interior design. Assist in auto restoration projects by restoring or customizing boat interiors to meet client specifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Two years minimum proven experience with hand tools, sewing machines, and power tools used in upholstery or manufacturing environments. Strong sewing skills with the ability to operate industrial sewing machines efficiently. Knowledge of upholstery materials such as fabric, vinyl, leather, and foam. Experience in marine upholstery or auto restoration is highly desirable. Ability to read measurements accurately and follow detailed instructions. Familiarity with assembly processes within manufacturing or custom fabrication settings. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
