Experienced Foam Cutter

Nesco Resource is hiring a short-term Sander for a local Client in Conover, NC 1st shift: 7a-3p - possible 6-8 weeks, could turn into long term Monday - Friday Responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing foam components used in furniture production. Ensures all foam pieces meet quality and size specifications while maintaining production efficiency and following safety standards. Experience cutting foam components to specifications using foam cutting equipment and hand tools Ability to read and interpret cut sheets, work orders, and production specifications Knowledge of various foam grades, densities, and cushioning materials Accurate measuring, marking, and cutting skills Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to identify defects and ensure proper sizing and shape consistency Experience working in a fast-paced furniture manufacturing environment Safe operation of foam cutting machinery, band saws, and related equipment Ability to meet production quotas and deadlines Material handling and organization of foam inventory Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift foam materials as needed COM135 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
