Glue Reel Operator

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for operating the Auto Glue Reel and/or hand operated Glue Reel in a high-end furniture environment.

Essential Duties:

Set-up and operate Auto Glue Reel and hand operated Glue Reel, as required Inspect parts for quality, identifying & separating defective materials Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous glue reel experience preferred Must be able to read a tape measure Ability to identify wood species such as maple, mahogany and ash preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull and bend over the course of 8 hours. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs. Glue Reel Operator 37 9th Street SE Place, Hickory, NC 28602
