Upholstery Trimmer

Lexington Home Brands is looking for an experienced Trimmer (Incentive/Piece Work Pay) in our Upholstery Operation in Hildebran, NC.

First Shift Hours:

6:00 am-3:30 pm Monday - Thursday & 6:00 am-10:00 am Fridays Lexington Home Brands offers an excellent benefits package and a team atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS

Trim, fit, and finish upholstered furniture pieces including sofas, chairs and other custom items. Cut and remove excess fabric, leather, or vinyl neatly and accurately. Apply final finishing touches including skirts, tacks, or decorative trims as required. Use hand tools such as scissors, shears, staple guns and tack hammers. Ensure all pieces are trimmed and finished to a high standard of quality and appearance. Meet or exceed daily and weekly production targets based on piece work quotas. Perform quality checks on completed items and report any defects or inconsistencies. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures at all times. Repair and/or replace upholstery using knowledge of fabric and upholstery methods. Perform related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:

Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture upholstery or a similar trimming role.

Required Skills :

Proficiency in using upholstery tools and materials. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work efficiently and independently under a piece work pay structure.
