Upholsterer

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for repairing and restoring furniture, boats, car interiors, residential and commercial items as well as creating custom upholstery pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of fabrics and materials, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Repair and restore furniture, including chairs, sofas, and other upholstered items Create custom upholstery pieces. Measure and cut fabric to for upholstery projects. Install padding and springs. Use hand and power tools to complete upholstery projects Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as an Upholsterer Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials Experience using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and move items Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a workshop setting. May be exposed to dust, fumes, and other materials.

Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

$700.00 - $1,400.00 per week
