In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and customizing vehicle interiors, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help transform vehicles, bringing comfort, style, and durability to our customers' automotive experiences. Duties Use hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines to cut, sew, and install upholstery materials in vehicles. Repair or replace damaged or worn upholstery components, including seats, carpets, headliners, and door panels. Measure and fit fabrics or leather to vehicle interiors with precision to ensure seamless finishes. Assist in the assembly of custom interior components according to specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards. Inspect completed work thoroughly to ensure it meets customer expectations and company guidelines. Requirements Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and upholstery techniques. Knowledge of auto restoration processes and vehicle interior assembly. Strong sewing skills with the ability to operate sewing machines efficiently. Familiarity with manufacturing practices related to automotive upholstery. Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications for custom projects. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise work.
