Job Description
Overview Join our team as a drapery & window shade installer and bring style, comfort, and functionality to residential and commercial spaces! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing a wide variety of window treatments, including custom draperies, shades, blinds, and specialty coverings. Your expertise will help transform interiors by ensuring precise, professional installations that meet client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative products and collaborate with clients to enhance their environments. We are also looking for individuals with upholstery experience! If you are skilled in upholstery and are willing to learn drapery/shade installation we would love to have you join our team! Duties General shop labor including light cleaning, trash disposal, and various small tasks Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to install draperies, shades, blinds, and related fixtures Install hardware such as brackets, tracks, rods, and mounting systems with attention to detail Conduct site inspections to verify proper fit, alignment, and operation of installed window treatments Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installation meets specifications and quality standards Perform adjustments, repairs, or restorations as needed to achieve optimal functionality and appearance Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work or interior installation roles; experience with fabrications or carpentry is a plus Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to window treatment installations Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation safely and effectively Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments such as remodeling projects or new construction sites Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; capable of troubleshooting installation issues efficiently
