RV Upholsterer! What You'll Do Draw and interpret design templates Remove and replace padding and filling in unit cushions/upholstery. Measure, cut and sew fabric for cushions for units. Provide design and/or color ideas and suggestions to Guests. Remove upholstered cushions and replace interiors with another fabric or other material, such as leather. Using a single-needle sewing machine to sew material for upholstery covers and webbing for all furniture. May cross train to perform other duties. What You'll Bring Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Sense of urgency Active listening Critical thinking Time management High School Diploma preferred. Completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-3 years of experience, a plus! Use of power tools such as: band saws, sanders, foam and upholstery material cutting knives etc. Previous experience providing design and creative idea to Guests.1-2 years' cabinetry and carpentry experience. RV experience, a plus.
