Job Description
Parc is a custom furniture design and fabrication studio specializing in bespoke upholstery and woodworking for residential, hospitality, and workplace interiors. We are exploring the expansion of an in-house upholstery and fabrication shop in Connecticut and are interested in connecting with experienced upholsterers for future opportunities. Projects include custom seating, banquettes, sofas, lounge chairs, headboards, wall upholstery, and other made-to-order pieces produced for interior designers, architects, restaurants, hotels, and private residences. Ideal Experience (This is not an entry level position no training will be provided) Upholstery of custom furniture and built-in seating Pattern matching and attention to detail Foam and cushion fabrication Ability to work from drawings and specifications Experience with residential, hospitality, or commercial projects Ability to work independently and solve problems in a shop environment We Are Interested In Speaking With Experienced upholsterers seeking future full-time opportunities Independent upholsterers with their own shop Freelance and subcontract upholstery professionals Please include: Resume or work history Photos of recent work (if available) Whether you are interested in full-time employment, freelance work, subcontract opportunities, or all of the above Compensation Competitive and based on experience.
